Marcus was not happy about the outcome of the game but recognised that they are rebuilding the team and admitted that they lost to a better side. “First of all, I want to say congratulations to the Super Eagles of Nigeria for the victory they achieved against Liberia. I must admit that they have got fantastic players on their team. “They have a really solid squad. The defeat is, however, somehow discouraging. We came into the game to give our best for our country but unfortunately, we lost to the Nigerian national team, a good side. "We are still in a learning and rebuilding process just like our coach said earlier on. We are improving, though as I can say that so many positive things are happening to our team which we need to sustain," he said at a post-match conference.
