QFC shifts Pre-Season tourney to Honour Late NFF Sec Gen By Zibah Peace Organisers of the Maiden edition of a pre-season tourney for Elite women teams in Nigeria has announced a shift in date of the tourney. In a release made available to newsmen and signed by its West Africa and Nigeria coordinator Michael Akintunde, QFC regrets any inconvenience the shift in date might cause participating teams. The release states that the postponement is to allow football stakeholders attend the burial ceremony of former Nigeria Football Federation's Secretary General, Late chief Taiwo Ogunjobi billed for next week. The tourney will now hold between 28th and 31st of March 2019. Queens Football Consult , a leading sporting firm based in Guateng , South Africa announced Ondo state, Nigeria venue for its Pre-Season tourney for women Elite teams in Nigeria weeks ago. The aim of the tourney is to prepare participating teams ahead of the New NWPL season.
