AAG 2019: Falconets thrash South Africa again

Nigeria women U20 national continued its dominance over their South African counterparts as Falconets thrashed Basetsana 3-0 at the ongoing 12th All African Games in Rabat, Morocco.

The Nigeria side dominated the game from the blast of the whistle and got the opening goal in the 4th minute through Gift Monday.

Zainab Olopade made it 2-0 in the 40th minute with a sublime finish and ensured Nigeria goes into the locker room with a comfortable 2-0 lead.

The South Africans returned into the second half trying to seize the proceedings from the Nigeria team but find extremely difficult.

Cynthia Aku put the game beyond Basetsana in the 65th minute and all the efforts of the South Africans to reduced the tally proved abortive.
