Rabat 2019: Okagbare, Amusan confirm their participation as athletes depart Wednesday

After much discussions and persuasion, some of the Nigeria foreign based athletes has agreed to represent the country in the track and field events of the ongoing 12th All African Games in Rabat Morocco.

The athletes have been lodging their complains about their poor treatments and non payment of their allowances and bonuses as at when due .

They intended to dump the Games but has decided to rescind their decisions to take parti in 12th Africa Games in Morocco.

Blessing Okagbare, Tobi Amusan, Ese Brume and Doreen Amata has signified their intention to put on green white green of Nigeria in Morocco.

Meanwhile, the home based athletes will depart the shore of the country for Morocco on Wednesday.

They rounded up their preparations in Kaduna on Tuesday morning and will move to Abuja later in the day for their departure the following day.

The athletics events us scheduled to start on 26th of August.
