Rabat 2019: Team Nigeria Ready To Take 1st Position - Habu Gumel Insists

President, National Olympic Committee, NOC, Engineer Habu Gumel is optimistic and boasted that no country can stop Team Nigeria from taking its rightful first position.

Habu Gumel disclosed this during the hoisting of Nigeria national flag at the International University Rabat.

He assured Nigerians that the team are well prepared to do the country proud at the 2019 African Games in Morocco.

He added that the federal government has motivated the contingents to go all out and win well.

He told bsnsports.com.ng that athletes are well trained and will not indulge themselves in drugs and cheating in order to win medals.

According to him: "Team Nigeria are here to take its rightful number one position on the log table. We have trained our athletes so well that no country can displace them from claiming the number one position.

The Federal government has done well to prepare them mentally and financially for the games.
