Rafael Everton elated to see Akwa United redeeming back winning ways

Akwa United Brazilian coach Rafael Everton is relieved to see his team winning philosophy run in the Nigeria Professional Football League following Wednesday’s 1-0 home win against hard fighting FC Ifeanyi Ubah, BSNSports reports.

“It’s a massive win for us. Going three games in the league without a win is not good for our pedigree despite staging in abridged league, and we are happy we were able to beat FCIU,” Coach Rafael disclosed to BSNSports.

“Our target is to top our group at the end of the season, and it is something that is achievable if you look at where we are in the table.

“The good thing is that we have a large squad with a lot of quality players.

We will keep pushing hard and not relent in our efforts.”
