By Sampson Adedeji
After spending few months in the treatment room, Nigeria's Super Eagles and Granada CF midfielder, Ramon Azeez, has returned to training, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Azeez was one of the standby player invited by Nigeria's Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, for the October international friendly match against Foxes Warriors of Algeria and Carthage Eagles of Tunisia but was unable to make it due to injury.
He missed couple of games for Granada both in the domestic league and UEFA Europa League.
He resumed training on Wednesday with his teammates at Granada as they set to face PSV Eindovien of Holland in the match-day 5 of the Europa League.
The game might be too soon for him to resume action but he was excited to back in training.
“Happy to be back on the pitch again, after been outside for some months," he wrote on his social media handle.
Despite representing Nigeria's Super Eagles at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil under late coach Stephen Keshi, Azeez has been in and out of the present national team set up.
