RANGERS BOSS OWUMI CHALLENGES PLAYERS ON AITEO CUP

General Manager of seven time Nigerian
league champions, Rangers International F.C, Prince Davidson Owumi, has thrown a challenge at his coaching and playing staff to do all they can to emerge champions of the Aiteo Cup 2018 which kicks off on September 5, 2018.
The former NPL boss gave this challenge while addressing the players after Saturday morning's training session in Enugu.
He told the coaches and players that the Aiteo Cup means a lot to the numerous fans and supporters of the club stressing, "I know you don't understand what winning this trophy after thirty-five years would mean to the millions of people following us.
I challenge you all to take all matches in the Aiteo Cup as a final match until we are crowned winners again. This is the shortest route to the continent and with determination and proper focus, we can do it."
The former CEO of Warri Wolves further said,"Motivation has not been a problem since we started and I assure you that you will be greatly appreciated for your dedication towards our becoming the national Aiteo Cup champion again. We have all it takes to beat all comers to the title."
Rangers last won the national challenge cup in 1983 when it defeated defunct D. I. C Bees and the current team under the leadership of Prince Owumi is poised to break the over three decades of missing the Challenge cup now Aiteo Cup in its cabinet.
