CAFCC: Rangers down Bantu FC in Lesotho

Rangers International maintained their unbeaten record in 2018/19 CAF Confederation Cup with a 2-1 win over Bantu FC in the first leg of the two-legged playoffs in Lesotho, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
It was a good day for Nigeria's representative in CAF Confederation Cup as they started their play off on a good note.
Enugu Rangers on Sunday in far away Maseru, Lesotho defeated hosts FC Bantu 1-2 in the first leg of play off.
It was Bright Silas who opened the scoring in the 20th minutes of the match to compliment the wonderful display of the Nigeria side. Silas has scored four goals in this year's CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
Just as the host were struggling to comeback into the game Godwin Aguda doubled the lead in the 87th minutes to silent the home crowd.
Lazola halved the scores in the 90th minute of the game and gave Bantu a glimmer of hope going into the second leg.
Rangers will host second leg at the Nnamdi Azikwe stadium on January 20th.
The winner over the two legs will qualify for the group stage of the competition.
