Rangers don’t fear Sfaxien & Etoile Du Sahel says Chukwu

Ex Nigeria International captain Christian Chukwu has fired up the Flying Antelopes.

The Nigerian powerhouse are in a CAF Confederation Cup quest alongside some rather menacing sides in Group B, namely SC Sfaxien and Étoile Sportive du Sahel (both Tunisian), with Burkinabe side Salitas fill in as minnows.

Chukwu, disclosed to BSNSports that the Nigerians are not afraid of what group B has on offer.

“Rangers is delighted to have come this far in the CAF Confederation Cup and we are not scared of any team in our group.

Sfaxien and Sahel have a combined eight CAF Confederation Cup titles between them, while Rangers have never lifted the trophy.

“The North African teams in Rangers’ group also see the Nigerian team as a threat to their campaign because this is not the first time we are meeting.

“We would approach every game with all seriousness.

The coaches’ would monitor each team and see how we can over run them home and away. There is no cause for alarm,” Chukwu concluded.
