Rangers To Approach Bordeaux For Maja This Week

After an amazing performance in the French Lique One last season, Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Josh Maja is in the spot light again as Scottish premier league side Glasgow Rangers set to approach Girondin Bordeaux for his signature this week, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ahead of the new season, Rangers is looking for option upfront after the team first striker Alfred Morelos agreed a move to French Lique One side LOSC Lille.

Maja who made debut for Nigeria against Ukraine in November 2019, joined Bordeaux in January 2019 from the England championship side Sunderland.

The reports has that Rangers will open discussions with Bordeaux this week a hope of securing him.

The 21-year-old scored 17 goals in 49 games for Sunderland, and has scored nine in 31 since joining the Ligue 1 team.
