Super Falcons attacker, Rasheedat Busayo Ajibade scored her sixth league goal of the season for her Norwegian Toppserien side, Avaldsnes in their 1-1 draw with Lyn on Sunday.

The former FC Robo Queens captain scored the first goal of the game in the 37th minute to give her side the lead at the Kringsjå kunstgress, Oslo.

Mimmi Matilda Löfwenius cancelled Rasheedat’s goal in the 40th minute when she equalised for Lyn to ensure that the host secures a 1-1 draw after losing the first leg of the fixture 5-2 with Ajibade also scoring a goal.

The goal took Rasheedat Ajibade’s goal tally to six this season. Her previous goals came against Arna-Bjourna, Vålerenga, and Røa.

Avaldsnes occupied the fourth position on the Toppserien table with 25 points from 13 games, six points behind league leaders, Vålerenga. They will host Kolbotn in their next fixture on October 3 after holding their next visitors to a 2-2 draw in the first leg on July 10.
