  Rasheedat's Atletico Madrid Defeat Barcelona To Reach Spanish Super Cup Final By Editor Rasheedat Ajibade’s Atletico Madrid defeated Asisat Oshoala’s FC Barcelona on penalties to qualify for the Spanish Supercopa Fememinia final. Merel van Dongen scored the opening goal of the game for Atletico Madrid from the penalty spot in the 67th minute after a goalless first half. Alexia Putellas Segura took the game into extra time with a 90th-minute equaliser for FC Barcelona. Atletico Madrid eventually defeated FC Barcelona 3-1 on penalties to set up a Supercopa Fememinia final meeting with Levante. Asisat Oshoala replaced Aitana Bonmati in the 71st minute while Rasheedat Ajibade was an unused substitute for Atletico Madrid. Cameroon’s Ajara Nchout also didn’t feature for Atletico Madrid as she was also an unused substitute. FC Barcelona will host Rayo Vallecano in their next Spanish Primera Division Women’s league game on January 20. Atletico Madrid on the other hand will play Levante in the final of the Supercopa Fememinia on January 16. -Kick442
