Real Mallorca Appoints Finidi George As Coach By Omolagba Oluwayemi Former Nigerian international, Finidi George, has been appointed the Youth Team coach of Spanish La Liga side, Mallorca, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Finidi George started his playing career with Calabar Rovers in 1898 before joining in Iwuanyanwu Nationale (Heartland FC) a year later. Played for Sharks of Port Harcourt (Rivers United) between 1991-1993 before joining Ajax Amsterdam where he won the UEFA Champions League alongside Kanu Nwankwo. He netted 18-times for Ajax in 85 appearances and then joined Real Betis after three successful years before joining Real Betis where he scored 38-times before moving to Mallorca where he had two spells, scoring a total of five goals. He also played for Ipswich Town in England. Finidi at a point also serve as an intern coach at Dutch side, FC Zwolle on the way to earning a coaching badge.
