Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has explained the reason he failed to tied down a deal with Dutch Eredivisie giant Ajax Amsterdam.

The Nigeria international was invited for trials in 2013 and performed well during the trial matches but was unable to sign the dotted line at that time, BSN Reports.

He told Brila radio that his agent and Ajax failed to agree on financial terms that was the reason the deal collapsed.
It is true that I almost joined Ajax in 2013. I did very well in test games and scored some goals, but my agent and the club didn’t agree on financial terms. I was young at the time and just wanted to play at the famed club, but my agent thought otherwise and that was it,” he Brila fm.

Simon moved to Slovakia after then and signed for Trencin before moving to Gents of Belgium.
