  Red House Emerge Champions of Maiden Waldorf Knoll Inter House Sport By Niyi Busari Red House were crowned champions in the first Waldorf Knoll Academy, inter house Sport with 462 points in 12 events. The sporting events which took place in the sport facility inside the school premises, Green House were close to meet up with the champions but their best could only fetch them the second place with 447 points while Blue House came third with 416 points and Yellow 408 points. Some of the sporting events are; 400m Secondary Boys, Sack Race, 200m Boys, table tennis, shot put, long jump, javelin, discuss, Busting of Balloons, Egg race, 100m Primary School Boys and Girls, Fill in the bottle, fill in the basket, 100 m langa and other sporting activities. Speaking with BSN Sports after the sporting events, an elated school principal, Mrs. Rachel Cane was very delighted saying that to be the best school in Nigeria, they must do the best to beat the rest. "As you can see, I am very delighted, organization of the event, security put in place and Covid 19 protocols. We are a school that want to be the best. So, to be the best, everything we do has to be first class. Captain of Red House, Tarma said she was happy that their hard works paid off at the end of the competition. "I feel amazing, the training was hard but eventually we win. Though is not easy balancing education and sport but the fixtures gas made it easy. I may venture into sport later in future (basketball). I thank God for my parent because they supported me. Mrs Adaeze whose four children are students in the school in different houses said; "I have four kids in this school and I'm excited to see them win . You can see me in white because you don't want to be partial, I wanted to give all of them my full support. Tarma was the first person to tell me that I'm going to do a parent race for her house, she was very smart, she said like 2 months ago. "I'm a sport lady and we always go out to walk out during weekends and weekdays . I always s encourage them that as they read their books, they also have to explore other areas of their lives and sports is one of them and I give them my full support. I don't know where life will take them to, so I will let them explore and at this level they are still exploring. "I will give her my support to play basketball because I know that is not about going to university to read, people are making it even without going to the university, so if she comes out and says she want to go into basketball I will give my support."
