REMO STARS SUPREMO LIVID AT NPFL MATCH OFFICIATING
By Admin
The President of Remo Stars Football Club, Hon. Kunle Soname has expressed his dismay at the level of officiating in the Remo Stars versus Bendel Insurance game which ended 1-1 in Sagamu on Sunday.
Speaking to journalist after the game, a visibly angry Soname said: "This is the worst officiating I've ever seen. The ref and assistants are very very incompetent".
If not that we have adequate security, you could imagine what could have happened. Football is an emotional game, but I appeal to fans not to let our emotions rule us.
I'll fight this till the end, even if need be FIFA.
I will write, I will write, said the Remo Stars supremo.
"The two teams played very well, they show good artistry of the game, but the refs incompetence killed the game.
LMC have a lot to do.
Football continues, we have another game next week", Soname concluded.
Charles Omokaro scored first for Bendel Insurance before Victor Mbaoma level scores for 1-1, Awazie Ekene seems to have scored the winner for Remo Stars but the linesman ruled it out for an offside.
