Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has been ruled out of the Super Eagles team to the FIFA World Cup in Russia following confirmation of injury after a scan carried out in London.
BSN Sports recalls that he was injured during a recent training camp in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state ahead of last international friendly match against DR Congo in Port Harcourt.
Eagles team doctor had earlier turned in his report to the Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr in Uyo but Moses disputed the report which prompted the authorities to take him to London for another scan.
But, London Doctor this afternoon confirmed that all-action player will still need four to six weeks to be fully fit to play competitive football after he hurt his thigh in training.
For this reason, Rohr has finally dropped him while he still needs to drop one more player from the list going to Russia.
Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr who looks unhappy after he confirms that Moses Simon will not be part of his team at the world cup finals in Russia.
As at the time of filing this report, Moses Simon's returning back to Nigeria has been concluded and will be in the country in the next 24 hours.
