Chikwelu fires brace in Madrid win

Nigeria's Super Falcons midfielder Rita Chikwelu continue her amazing performance for Real Madrid Femino side on Sunday in their 3-1 win over Espanyol.

Chikwelu moved to the Spanish side on loan from the Swedish women side Kristadad with an option of a permanent move, BSN Reports.

Madrid hosted Espanyol in Primera Iberdola match and it was Nigeria star that opened scoring in the 12th minute of the keenly contested encounter.

Espanyol equalised through Ines six minutes into the second half.

Chikwelu made it 2-1 for Madrid Ladies in the 80th minute before Geyse added the third goal in the 88th minute.

The midfield powerhouse has now scored 3 goals for Madrid in the last two matches.
