Rivers Hoopers Crashes Out Of The BAL By Uche Dozie Nigeria's sole representative at the Basketball African League (BAL) unfortunately could not make it to the next round of the playoffs, BSNSport.com.ng reports. The Hoppers lost two of their first games but gave themselves a lifeline after their first win in the last group game on Saturday. The win had put them in chance to be chosen as the one of the best losers, but the results of other group games played today did not go their way. The team finished third on the best losers standing behind Douanes of Senegal and FAP of Cameroon. Hoopers lost to Patriot of Rwanda and US Monastir of Morocco, but won GNBC of Madagascar in their last game.
