Rivers United Depart For Tanzania Thursday For CAF Champions League Clash Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the first leg preliminary round of the champions league, Nigeria's representative Rivers United are scheduled to depart the shore of the country later on Thursday for Tanzania, BSNsports.com.ng a report The Pride of Rivers were drawn against Yanga SC 1935 of Tanzania in the preliminary round of the competition slated to kick this weekend. The Nigeria side is second behind champions Akwa United in the 2020/2021 Nigeria professional football league season. According to the team media officer, Rivers United will depart the country via Kenya Airline on Thursday night to Dare salam capital of Tanzania. The match is slated for this weekend and the team will arrive back in Lagos on Monday and move to Port-Harcourt on Tuesday.
