NPFL side Rivers United have confirmed the signing of Enyimba FC duo Ifeanyi Anaemena and Theophilus Afelokhai.

Rivers scooped the duo signatures after players’ contracts expired in Aba. The reports believe that Enyimba did make attempts to strike new deals but no agreements were met.

“Rivers United have confirmed the signing of Ifeanyi Anaemena and Theophilus Afelokhai from rivals Enyimba International of Aba,” reported Brila.

“The Stanley Eguma side confirmed the signing of the experienced duo on Tuesday following the expiration of their contract with the People’s Elephant,” added the report.
