...Super Eagles do not Have an Individual Have Winner

Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr has revealed that he will be counting on his players’ abilities to launch fast attacks and put up immense fighting spirit in the quest for glory at this year’s World Cup.
While acknowledging that the Eagles will need to play together as a compact whole to shine in Russia, Rohr said he already has different game plans for their Group D rivals – Argentina, Croatia and Iceland at the World Cup.
The Franco-German tactician reiterated that the current squad has no key player who can single-handedly determine the outcome of matches.
The Eagles will begin their final lap of preparations in Uyo on May 22, ahead of friendlies against Democratic Republic of Congo, England and Czech Republic, ahead of which Rohr says he has put the right tactics in place.
He then lavished praise on four ex-internationals, Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha, Victor Nosa Ikpeba and Victor Okechukwu Agali and Nwankwo Kanu for inspiring the like of John Mikel Obi, Alex Iwobi, Victor Moses and Ke;lechi Iheanacho to reach the same level.
”We don’t have Kanu, Jay Jay Okocha, Ikpeba, Victor Agali, we have a team who must win together, play quality football because not one player can make us win.
”This is the first thing that we decided for everybody to be attacking when we have the ball, everybody has to defend when we don’t have the ball.
”This quality kind of football brought us to the World Cup. When we get the ball, we have fast attacks, this kind of style is for me among our strengths.
”What I like about the team is the fighting spirit and the capacity to suffer together,” Rohr submitted.
