Rohr Is Like A Father - Ighalo

Former Nigeria international and Manchester United forward Odion Jude Ighalo has hailed Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr on the way he has handled the team since resuming as Super Eagles coach, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ighalo who retired from international football played two major tournaments, 2018 World Cup in Russia and 2019 African Cup Of Nations in Egypt under Rohr, BSN Reports.

Amid of contract issues going on between the Nigeria Football Federation and Rohr, former Watford striker has played down all negative remarks placed on the coach and believed that in as much as he is getting the required results, all that issues remained secondary.

“Rohr is like a father..He brings stability, calmness to the team.

“Personally, Rohr made me return to the national team after the World Cup saga.

“Some people say he's old fashioned but as long as he's getting results, who cares?!

"For me, he's doing well", he stated.

Despite his good form for the English premier league giants, Ighalo is yet to speak on whether he will be back to the national team or not.
