Ahead of his intending move to a bigger club, Nigeria's Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has caution striker Victor Osimhen to consider regular playing time before taking any decision, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Osimhen, 21, who was voted Lille Player of The Year, has been a big subject of discussions in the transfer market this summer following his outstanding performance for LOSC Lille this season.

Rohr while speaking on channels Television interview said playing regularly for club will help his career and also improve the growth of the National team.

"Victor Osimhen will have a very big opportunity to go to a very big club in the Premier League or Italy,” Rohr said in an interview on Channels Television.

“This is a success for him and for the Super Eagles but if he is not playing, it won’t be good for him as a young player because a young player has to be playing to progress.

“If we have players playing at the high-level clubs, our level in the Super Eagles will also grow," he said.

Clubs are still discussing with Lille for his signature with Italia Serie A side Napoli leading the race.
