Rohr confirms Ebere Eze approach

Just as Nigeria's Super Eagles are getting ready to open its campaign in the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin Republic and Lesotho, the team coach Gernot Rohr has confirmed that they have approached Queen Park Rangers midfielder Ebere Eze.
Eze has been one of the outstanding player in the English championship this season with his amazing performance for QPR.
Rohr said they have approached the player through his mother and further confirmed that the skilful player is now under pressure to take decision.
"We have approached him, but not directly. Tunde Adelakun , my assistant, spoke to his mum. What we understand is that there is a lot of pressure on him and Ebere Eze doesn’t want to give an answer now.
“Obviously, we would love to have him in the Super Eagles, of course! We continue to work on getting him. It may take some time," Rohr said.
Eze who is born to Nigerian parents, trained with the Super Eagles in October , 2017 but later featured for the England’s U-20 last month.
He has scored 6 goals in 14 matches for QPR.
