By Sampson Adedeji

Nigeria's Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has stated that is not sure of what future hold for him as Super Eagles head coach.

BSN reports that the Franco-German coach has been in charge of the Nigeria senior national team for more than two years and with the existing contract set to end in the mid year 2020,

Speaking from his base in France, the soft spoken gaffer said he hope to still continue working with Nigeria Football Federation but for now nothing is sure.

"As is known, my current contract with the Super Eagles runs till June 2020. This ends right in the middle of the qualifying campaign for the 2021 AFCON.

"It’s a bit strange that I have a contract ending while I have to qualify for the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon.

"I have a lot I want to achieve. Big things with Nigeria. I can see what the future can produce. I hope I can work with President Pinnick Amaju to achieve those things.

"But I don’t know my situation after June 2020. We have to see what happens," he concluded.

While in charge of Super Eagles of Nigeria, Rohr has qualified Super Eagles for the last two major tournament, Russia 2018 and 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
