Rohr Not Competent To Lead Nigeria To Success in Egypt - Harrison Jalla

President, National Association of Nigeria Footballers (NANF), Harrison Jalla has said that Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr should not lead the Eagles to the 2019 African Nations Cup finals in Egypt, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
The Franco-German coach was quoted to have said that Morocco and Egypt are favourites for the 2019 AFCON title.
In a statement made available to BSNSports.com.ng NANF expressed dismay at the coach statement and asked for his sack.
The statement reads; "The National Association of Nigeria footballers (NANF) was dismayed by a statement credited to Gernot Rohr in which he throws his weight behind Egypt and Morocco as favourites for AFCON 2019 trophy.
"The super Eagles coach just displayed nativity, lack of Confidence and gross incompetence that he is not a fit and proper person to hold the exalted position of the Super Eagles coach, a three time African Champion,Olympic champion, and one time rated 5th in FIFA ranking. Gernot Rohr has just told Nigerians that he cannot revive Nigeria's lost glory in Global football. He is hardly seen in any league match Venue in Nigeria."
"Late Stephen Keshi may his soul rest in peace won the AFCON 2013 trophy in South Africa with less than fifty percent of the talent Gernot Rohr has in his present Super Eagles Squad. That Gernot Rohr cannot guarantee the 2019 AFCON trophy speaks Volume . On what basis is his contract predicated upon? Failure?.
"That he has conceded defeat before the 2019 AFCON is sufficient for his sack immediately after 2019 AFCON. Gernot Rohr is a colourless and timid manager far way below the standard of the super Eagles of Nigeria." He concluded
