Nigeria Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr on Wednesday afternoon paid a courtesy visit to Minister of Youth and Sports Development Sunday Dare in his office at Moshood Abiola stadium in Abuja.

The Franco-German coach led Nigeria Super Eagles to a back to back victory in the ongoing 2021 African Cup Nations qualifier against Benin and Lesotho, BSN reports

The Minister thanked him for the visit and also urged him to share his experience with the local coaches in the local league.

He thanked Rohr for the good work in the last 3 years, saying “Nigeria is a football loving nation. We love our football & we also love our victories,”

“Are we happy about where our football is at the moment? Not exactly but we know there’s an ongoing process that will make this country a better football nation. That process is on and you are part of the process.

Dare further expressed hope that the Super Eagles would maintain the recent victories against Benin and Lesotho in subsequent matches.

He urged the coach to share experiences with the domestic league coaches.
