The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, will on Thursday send the contract papers to the Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The president of the NFF, Amaju Pinnick confirmed on Monday that Gernot Rohr will receive the contract papers on Thursday and the federation will be expecting him to respond on whether he is ready to continue working with Nigeria or not with the conditions added in the new contract.

"The process is ongoing, two days ago (last Saturday) the contract was sent to external solicitor to take a look at it before we send it to him. So, i believe between that 10 days which today (Monday) is the 7th day, so, he will get it in three day's time (Thursday) and respond." Pinnick told Channels TV on Monday.

Pinnick however, admitted that Rohr has achieved a lot with the Super Eagles adding that the coach rode on the federation's support for his achievement.

"The truth is, he has done a lot for Nigeria as a coach, no doubt, but without the support of the NFF he wouldn't have one-tenth of what he has achieved.

He said Rohr has the right to refuse to accept the conditions attached to the new contract.

"His (Rohr) contract expires in June, this is April and if he looks at it and says he is okay with it, then we are good to go. He has a contract and the contract states clear that he has a right of first refusal. Now we are sending the contract to him which has one or two provisions."

The Franco-German coach qualified the Super Eagles for the 2018 World Cup in Russia and finished Third at the 2019 African Nations Cup in Egypt.

Rohr was quoted to say he has no problem with the conditions attached to the new contract but demanded for non-interference when carrying out his duty as the coach.
