RPL: Khimki Wants Idowu On Permanent Deal

Following his amazing performance this season for the club, Russia Premier League side FK Khimki indicated interest in acquiring Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Brian Idowu on a permanent deal, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The versatile defender joined Khimki last summer on loan from another Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow.
Since moving to Khimki Idowu has been able to help the club both in the league and cup games.
The initial contract Idowu had with Lokomotiv Moscow will end at after the ongoing season, the Chief Executive officer of Khimki Sergei Anokhin has stated clearly that the club will want him permanently.
"Brian, he is a great player, he showed himself in the last season, especially in Khimki. The club offered him a contract back in January, but could not agree.
Just a few days ago, I talked to him, made a final offer, we are waiting for his decision. We would really like him to stay at the club.
Brian is now a free agent, his contract with Lokomotiv has ended. He has the right to choose where to play," Anokhin said.
