Nigeria’s Bryan Idowu continued his fantastic form in front of goal for newly promoted FK Khimki as he scored for the second consecutive game to help them to a 2-0 win away at FC Rostov, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Last weekend, Idowu opened his account for the season but could not prevent his team from losing 3-2 to Spartak Moscow.
The 28-year-old also wrapped up the scoring today but this time it was a crucial second goal in the fourth minute of stoppage time that helped Khimki secure all three points.
The Eagles left-back started his 11th straight league game with the hosts hoping to earn just their second win and move off the relegation zone.
However, with the 2-0 win, his club side move up to 14th on the log in the Russian premier league.
