Süper Lig: Trabzonspor Extends Nwakaeme's Contract Sampson Adedeji Turkish Süper Lig club Trabzonspor has rewarded the loyalty of Nigeria forward Anthony Nwakaeme with contract extension, BSNSports.com.ng can report. Nwakaeme joined the Turkish side in 2018 after a successful spell in the Isreali Premier League with Hapoel Be'er Sheva where he netted 35 goals in 95 matches. Since moving to Turkey, the lanky forward has been regular in the team lineup and has also been displayed amazing performances. The club on Friday announced that Nwakaeme contract was extended two more years with an option for another year The two year deal will fetch Nwakaeme €2.5 million according to the update from Turkey. Despite his exploits in Europe, Nwakaeme has only played once for Super Eagles, that was in the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Algeria.
