Samson Siasia Mum Released From Captivity

Report coming in says that the mother of former Super Eagles coach, Samson Siasia, Madam Ogere Beauty Siasia, has been freed from captitivity.

Madam Ogere regained her freedom after spending over two months with her kidnappers.

According to News Express, the 80-year-old mother was freed on Sunday morning by her abductors.

Since she was taken away at dusk from her house on 15th July, 2019, her son had been begging the kidnappers to release her as he did not have the huge ransom they were demanding.

The family recently paid N1.5 million ransom to the abductors who refused to release the octogenarian few weeks ago, rather they released on of the in-laws who was abducted along with the aged mother

He also appealed to both the federal and state governments to come to his family’s rescue.

The Bayelsa State Police Command is yet to comment on the release.
