Kalu nets in Bordeaux win

Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Samuel Kalu continue to make headlines in the French Ligue 1 with his blistering display for Girondin Bordeaux, BSNSports.com.ng understands.

Former KAA Gent forward was the star man on Tuesday as Bordeaux picked an away win in the league against Angers.

Despites home team starting on a strong note, it was Kalu that broke their heart in the 31st minutes of the game off assist from Maxime Poundje.

Angers leveled the game in the 68th minutes of play with Mateo Pavlovic before missing a spot kick in the 68th minutes.

Kalu was substituted in the 69th minutes for Yann Karamoh who eventually netted the winner in the 90th minutes of play to ensure 1-2 win for Bordeaux.

Kalu joined Bordeaux last summer from the Gent in the Jupiler league and has become a revelation since the switch to Ligue one.
