It was a sweet day for Nigeria's Super Eagles left back Zaidu Sanusi on Wednesday night as he lifted his first trophy as a professional football player, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Sanusi moved to joined Portuguese Primera Liga side FC Porto this summer from Rio Ave after Alexander Telles joined Manchester United.
Since joining the team he has been a regular player with the club displaying amazing performance with fantastic goals to show.
He was in action on Wednesday night for the entire duration of the game as Porto defeated rival SL Benfica 2-0 in the Portuguese Super cup.
Goals from Sergio Oliviera 25th minute and Luiz Diaz in the 90th minute ensured that Porto emerged the winner of the cup .
