Senegal Budget $8.7 Million For AFCON 2021

Barely a month to the start of the 2021 African Cup of Nation in Cameroon, the Senegal Football Association has released the budget for the competition, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
The football body in Senegal released 5 Billion FCFA for their participation in the oncoming African Nations Cup slated for Cameroon.
The money will cover the payment of participation bonuses and other performance bonuses of the Lions, during the group stage.
With the restrictions due to Covid-19 and the new Omicron variant, the size of the Senegalese delegation will be reduced compared to 2019.
According to the report Lions will be in Kigali (Rwanda) around December 27 to begin the regrouping for ten days, before facing the President of the Republic Macky Sall, for the traditional delivery of the national flag at the palace.
The 33rd edition of CAN 2021 will start on January 9 and end on February 6. Finalist of the 2019 edition in Cairo, Senegal is one of the favourites for the title. Housed in Group B, he will first challenge Zimbabwe (January 10), Guinea (January 14) and Malawi (January 18) in group matches.
