Senegal To Host 42nd African Judo Championships By Sampson Adedeji Senegal has been announced as the host for 2021 host of African Judo Championship, and slated for May 20th to 23rd, 2021 BSNSports.com.ng reports. The President of the African Judo, Mr Habib Sissoko, announced that the 42nd edition of the event will take place in Diamniadio, at the Dakar Arena. For a period of three days. “It is very pleasant for me, on behalf of the African Judo Union, to express my deep feelings of gratitude, in particular, to the Senegalese Judo Federation, for having subscribed to the domiciliation of the African Championships of Judo Seniors in this period of uncertainty caused by the spread of the coronavirus. It is with great pride that I would like to underline the great organizational and technical capacities of the Senegalese Judo Federation, which it has always proven in terms of the organization of large-scale international and continental events," he said. The 41st edition of the African Judo Championships were held in Antananarivo in December 2020.
