After suffering heavy defeats in their last 2 matches, BSNSports.com.ng can report that the club of Nigeria's Super Eagles defender William Troost Ekong, Udinese returned to winning ways on Sunday.

Udinese suffered 7 -0 to Napoli and 4-0 to AS Roma in the last two weekends and the result kept the coach on the edge of his seat

The team with Ekong marshalling the defence surprisingly thrashed in-form Genoa 1-3 at the Luigi Ferrari Stadium.

It was host who opened the scoring in the 28th minute through Goran Pandev, before goals from Rodrigo, Ken Sema and Kevin Lasagna ensured the win for the visitors.

The win push Udinese to 12th position with 13 points from 11 matches.
