Serie A: Osimhen Faces Covid-19 Test

Following the outcome of the Coronavirus test carried out on 14 Genoa players which turned out to be positives, Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen and his Napoli teammates are set to face test ahead of the next game, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Osimhen who played a key role last weekend as Napoli defeated Genoa 6-0 was pictured talking 'mouth to mouth' with Genoa players during a brawl during the game that made it back to back win for the club.

Club medical officer, Vicenzo Mirone, confirmed to Football Italia how the test will be carried out.

"Our colleagues are going to Castel Volturno and we will receive the answers to this first round of swabs tomorrow,” he said. “Friday we will have another round of tests, with answers on Saturday."

“I haven’t heard from Doctor Raffaele Canonico but the concern is considerable, during the game there were situations where players went face to face, like between Victor Osimhen and Andrea Masiello."

“By having the answers on Saturday, it will be difficult to organise the away game at Juventus," he told Football Italia.
