Serie A: Osimhen On Target As Napoli Drop Points Against Cagliari

Italian Serie A side Napoli hope of having champions league football next season suffered a setback on Sunday afternoon as hard fighting Cagliari held them at home, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Nigeria Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen once again stole the show with his amazing performance and did enough to score the opening goal in the 13th minute, the goal which Napoli held on to going into the break.
The second half started same way and Cagliari defenders continued to struggle with the power and pace of Nigerian forward and again found the back of the net again in the 58th minute only for the goal to be disallowed by the referee after consulting the VAR.
Osimhen had a slight injury towards the end of the game and replaced by Belgian International Dries Mertens.
Towards the tail end of the game, Napoli's backline crumbled under pressure allowing Cagliari get an equaliser through Nandez deep into the 4th minute of additional time.
Napoli occupies the fourth place at the moment but could drop to fifth should Juventus win their tie against Udinese this evening.
