Osimhen sustained injury while representing Nigeria in the 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone and has been out of action after sustaining a shoulder injury. After the 1-1 draw with AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League on Thursday, Gattuso’s men are back at the training centre in Naples. The Azzurri prepare for the League game against Crotone on Sunday but the players who started against the Dutch side went through light training this Friday. Osimhen continues to work separately and received therapy for his shoulder injury. The Nigerian continued to work on his fitness in the gym and will not be back in action this weekend either.
