Serie A: Simy Bags Brace In Crotone Emphatic Win

It was sweet victory for Nigeria's Super Eagles striker, Simy Nwankwo, on Sunday in Crotone's 4-1 win over Benevento, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Relegation threatened Crotone required a victory in the league match to give a sigh of relief, expectedly, they secured a big win with Nigeria international scoring a brace.
Crotone opened the scoring in the 4th minute through and own goal from Benevento defender Glik.
Simy made 2-0 in favour of host in the 29th minute before completing his brace in the 54th minute of the encounter.
Vulic made it 4-0 in the 65th minute before Iago Falque netted the consolation in the 82nd minute and ended the game 4-1 in favour of Crotone.
Despite winning the game, Crotone remained 20th on the table with 12 points in 18 matches.
Simy who emerged top scorer for the club last season in the Serie B, has now netted 5 goals in 18 matches in the Serie A.
