Serie
By Sampson Adedeji Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Simy Nwankwo on Saturday suffered a racial abuse online after scoring in Crotone 2-3 home defeat to Bologna, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Simy netted his 13th goal of the season from the penalty spot in the first stanza but Bologna did enough to rallied back and picked a deserved win. Simy posted an Instagram Stories with some of the abuse he received following the game. “Let’s make him famous, because he deserves it,” was the caption from Simy. These messages included ‘The bubonic plague needs to spread through Nigeria’ and ‘I’ll love it if your son dies of pancreatic cancer.’ Ironically, this weekend all the Serie A games are preceded by an anti-racism video.
