Serie A: Spalleti Banks On Osimhen For Good Outing By Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the new Italia Serie A season, newly appointed Napoli manager, Luciano Spalleti, is banking on the Nigeria's Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, to have a decent 2021/2022 season, BSNSports.com.ng can reports. The former AS Roma coach was appointed at the end of last season after Gennaro Gattuso was shown the exit door by the club management. Responding to questions during a press conference, Spalleti said the Nigeria international possessed the required qualities to propel the team to glory in the coming season. "He has great qualities in the spaces, he knows how to score goals, he helps the team, he covers these spaces and he does not leave them to others, if he conquers them himself, he is as strong as Dries Mertens," he said. Despite having shaky start last season, Osimhen still did enough to score 10 goals in 24 appearances for the club.
