Serie B: Simy on target again for Crotone

Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Simy Nwankwo continues to make headlines in the Italia Serie B for Crotone with his amazing performance in every game.

Simeon Nwankwo's solitary goal was not enough to get at least one point for Crotone on Tuesday night as his team lost to Chievo Verona 1-2.

Simy scored twice last weekend against Venezia and helped his team secured maximum points in a keenly contested encounter.

Chievo Verona defeated Crotone 2-1 but Simy was able to distinguished himself in the encounter.

It was Simy who opened the scoring from the penalty spot in 25th minute of the game to silent the roaring home crowd .

But goals from Emmanuel Giacherini and Alejandro Rodriguez ensured that Verona bounced back to victory.

Simy has now netted 3 goals in the last 2 matches, and 8 goals for the club in the league this season.
