Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Simy Nwankwo continued to make name for himself in the Italia Serie B club Crotone.

Since joining the club Nwankwo has been outstanding both in the league and cup games, BSN Reports.

He was the hero on Friday night as Crotone host and defeated league leaders Benevento 3-0.

Nwankwo scored two quickfire goals in the 14th and 18th minute of the encounter as Crotone led 2-0 to at the end of the first stanza.

He rounded off the game in the 71st with another sublime finish and ensured a maximum 3 points for the host.

Crotone remained second on table with 55 points in 32 matches .

Nwankwo has now scored 16 goals this season for Crotone.
