Serie B: Nwankwo Seals Win For Crotone

Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Simy Nwankwo is gradually regaining his old form of goal scoring in the Italia Serie B.

The lanky striker was part of Nigeria's Super Eagles to Russia 2018 World Cup under Gernot Rohr but was unable to take to the pitch, BSN Reports.

He netted the only goal of the game as Crotone defeated Cremonese 1-0 and also gave a good account of himself.

His goal scoring and amazing performance continue to propelled the Serie B side as the chase for the promotion tickets hots up.

After missing out of the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt, Nwankwo will be hoping to stage a return to the national team.
