Serie B: Simy Nwankwo's Goal Lifts Crotone Again

Nigeria's Super Eagles and FC Crotone striker Simy Nwankwo continued to make headlines in Italy with his amazing performance for his club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

With 18 goals under his belt, Simmy Nwankwo fired Crotone to the second on the log of the Italia Serie B.

After his wonderful performance last weekend, he was the hero again on Monday night an FC Crotone secured a 1-0 win over Pordernone.

In the fiercely contested encounter, Nwankwo again rose to grab the only goal of the game in the 46th minute winning the maximum three points for Crotone.

The lanky striker was replaced in the 91st minute by Maximilliano Lopez.

Nwankwo is now joint top scorer in the league with 18 goals while Crotone is placed second on the table with 61 points in the 34 matches.
