Serie B: Simy fires Crotone to victory

Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Simy Nwankwo is gradually regaining the form that endeared him to football fans in Italy with his performance for his club FC Crotone.

Since moving to Crotone Simy has been one of the important player for the club with his amazing performance.

Simy was the hero again on Saturday as Crotone defeated visiting Venezia 3-2, as he fired brace in the encounter.

It was the away side that took a shock lead in 9th minute through Mattew Aramu, but Simy restored parity in the 35th minute.

The lanky Nigeria striker completed his brace in the 55th minute as he gave host a deserved 2-1, before Venezia leveled again in the 68th through Alexandro Capello.

Crotone claimed their 3 points in 84th minute as Golemic fired the 3 goal and ensured that fans returned home in a joyful mood.

Simy has now scored 6 goals for Crotone in the league this season.
